What traceroute does

Shows each router (hop) that packets pass on the way to a destination and the round-trip time to every one of them.

• Use it to find where along the path delay or loss begins, for example inside your hosting provider or at a peering point between networks.
• Some routers do not answer and appear as *, which is normal. IPv4 only, up to 30 hops. Free account required.
